Types of dental plans we offer:
Dental HMO
Dental services are provided through a network of professional dentists who agree to provide most preventive dental services at little or no charge. Other services will require some co-payment amount. Typically, the lowest premium for an insured benefit plan. There is usually no maximum annual benefit.
The network of dentists is smaller than a Dental PPO plan and no coverage is allowed outside the network. Individuals are free to choose which dentist they will be assigned to provide services.
Dental PPO
Individuals select their dentist from a larger network than a Dental HMO. These dentists have agreed to provide services on a discounted fee-for-service basis. Some level of benefit exists over when individuals seek treatment from dentists outside of the PPO Network but may be responsible for higher co-payments and deductibles.
Dental Indemnity
No network of dentists which means an individual may seek treatment from any licensed dentist.
These plans usually pay a percentage of the dentist's fee.
Paid services may be made directly to the dentist (if an assignment is made) or to the individual as reimbursement for the fee-for-service provided.
Dental Discount Plans
Provides access to a network of dentists at discounted rates. Unlike the DHMO, individuals are free to see any dentist that contracts with the plan. Although rates are typically low, patients are however, responsible for a larger share of treatment costs.
